Why 'Spanky's Heroes'?

A rose by any other name…

Some say why the name? It seems to be the question on most people’s lips and mostly asked through a grin. Are we a kinky sex band all dressed in leather and chains? – no. Some think they know the answer to the question, and answers range from Charlie’s angels-esk type idea spanky being a guy or girl who calls us up to send us on missions – or – spanky being someone we know and named the band after  - or – a random idea that we all liked. Well I’ll leave it up to you to decide, it’s good to have a little mystery.
